This robotic bird was originally spotted on a poster in a public space in Warsaw, Poland in February, 2014. It was part of a strikingly beautiful Announcement advertising a performance of Mozart's "The Magic Flute". This classical opera features among others a character called "Pappageno" who is a Peddler of Birds.
The Painting itself is on 12"x16" Cold-press 100% Cotton Arches Watercolour Paper and has been mounted ready for framing on an acid free backing and matted to match the colours, making the overall dimensions 20 3/4 by 16 3/4 inches.
